Louise Batz

Become a Weezie’s Angel

Weezie's AngelLouise “Weezie” Batz, spent her life helping others and bringing joy to those around her. As her daughter Laura often says, she taught me how to love, respect and care for others, to never give up, to always persevere, and most importantly never to lose hope. When someone came to her with a problem, she would comfort them by saying, “‘It will be okay… together we will find the answer.’ She was my hero. She saved my life every day and still does.”

  • What is it?

Your fundraising saves lives and provides the financial resources necessary for the Louise H. Batz Patient Safety Foundation to tackle the the third leading cause of death in the United States, preventable medical errors.

Harness the power of people – your people. Start a Weezie’s Angels fundraiser or join the team at the San Antonio Rock ‘N’ Roll Marathon to help ensure that patients and families have the knowledge they need to ensure a safe hospital experience for their loved ones.

“It takes just $500 to help provide Batz Guides to over 150 families. 150 families that will be able to advocate and help to prevent a medical error from happening to their loved ones or themselves. ”
